SLOGAN:” Together, we strive to create lasting change in the lives of those we serve”.
FOUNDER/VISION BEARER FLORENCE KASONGO NGONZO SPIRITUAL JOURNEY THE BIRTH OF THE EAGLE’S BRIDE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES My journey with the Lord, in fulfilling Acts 1:8, began when I was 10 years old in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). My mother, a devoted follower of Jesus, often welcomed people into our home for prayer. I joined her, and together we saw God heal many. These early encounters stirred a deep desire in me to serve Jesus. In 2007, I married and settled in Kinshasa, enjoying a peaceful life. My husband, raised Catholic, was not yet born again, and I became distracted by worldly comforts. Yet, God’s call remained constant in my heart. In 2012, we relocated to war-torn Beni in eastern DRC due my husband's World Bank job. During that time our second child became seriously ill and due to war we traveled to Kampala, Uganda, for treatment. Though it seemed like a detour, didn’t know it then, but this move was part of God’s plan to prepare me for ministry. In 2013, I joined a local church where many believers told me I was running from God’s assignment. I didn’t understand it at the time. That same year, I gave birth to our daughter. Later that year, my husband returned to work but afterward he was poisoned and returned to Uganda very ill. God healed him and he resigned from his job and by 2014, we were left with nothing. We were evicted from our rental home, with no money for shelter or food. A Ugandan friend named Emmanuel supported us. I stayed alone in Uganda with my children while my husband had travelled back to DRC in search for work. Eventually, he got a job in Kinshasa and rented us a small one-bedroom house in Kawuku along Entebbe Road. Though we had only our clothes and one mattress, I was grateful. I began seeking God earnestly through prayer and fasting, though I often felt He was silent. Between 2015 and 2018, I faced rejection and loneliness, wondering why I was stuck in Uganda. But through the pain, my spiritual life matured. In 2017, I joined a prophetic ministry where I was called a powerful woman of God—though I couldn’t see it at the time. People urged me to return to Congo, but I held on to God’s direction. In 2018, a Congolese pastor prophesied I would lead a ministry that would transform women’s lives. Meanwhile, my husband suffered a stroke, and we were thrown into deeper despair. By 2019, with the onset of COVID-19, I lived in severe poverty, mocked and tempted by others. Still, I feared God and protected my family, knowing compromise would bring spiritual consequences. In 2019, we lived in deep poverty as the COVID-19 pandemic began. We rented a small room near a toilet and faced constant mockery, temptations, and spiritual attacks. Still, I held on to God, fearing Him and protecting my home. That December, God instructed me to complete a 21-day dry fast. Despite my weak health, I obeyed. During the fast, I had spiritual visions of angels, Hebrew writings, and colors. God gave me a song in both French and English and called it my “blueprint.” On day 16, a pastor from Lubumbashi contacted my aunt, confirming my call through Isaiah 61:1-10 as my divine mission. On January 1, 2020, after completing the fast, God confirmed my calling again through Isaiah 61 and Titus 2:3-5. He named my ministry “Women’s Revival Titus 2:3-5” and called me His “sunshine,” commissioned to shine for the broken and hurting. That very day, I launched a WhatsApp group for ministry including 4 friends who are now part of BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE EAGLE’S BRIDE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES – NGO while in the diaspora (Ms. Huguette Igola Mwimbu from Maine-USA, Ms. Bijou Kipulu Mabonzo from Indiana-USA, Ms. Irene Kabala Mwadi from Quebec-CANADA and Ms. Philiatte Elimbo Limbo from Kinshasa-DR CONGO. By January 4, three women were healed of menstrual problems. From 2020 to 2021, I ministered online from my humble home, using our meager income to buy data. Miracles occurred, yet no one knew how much I was silently suffering. In 2021, friends helped me move to a better house, and I began physical ministry—praying for the sick, casting out demons and sharing God’s Word. I wrote a prayer booklet called Spiritual Separation, inspired by the Holy Spirit, which has brought deliverance to women worldwide. I also began supporting orphans and widows, fulfilling a vow I had made to God. In 2022, the Lord renamed my ministry Eagle’s Bride International Ministries, based on Isaiah 40:29-31, symbolizing renewed strength. From 2021 to 2024, I ministered across Uganda, with my husband now fully born again and serving alongside me. Though we received no honorariums, we used our personal finances for the work of the ministry. In August 2024, God blessed us with a car, easing my travel. Despite years of poverty, rejection, and hardship, I became a witness of Christ, just as Acts 1:8 promises. Today, I lead Eagle’s Bride International Ministries, empowered by the Holy Spirit, bringing light to broken hearts, restoring women and fulfilling the mission God placed in my life.
